Case History:

46 yo male with late effects of cervical spinal cord injury

This tissue could be torn and absent; torn and atrophied; torn and atrophied with myofascial scar tissue for borders. It was difficult to discern if there was any muscle tissue left in this hole (descriptive). The only option was to begin treatment to allow the muscle fibers to reconnect. The success of treatment would indicate the state of the muscle tissue involved.

Question: What treatment would you initiate to determine if the muscle tissue could rebuild and reconnect?
