Recertification Requirements for Holistic Nurses

Successful completion of 100 contact hours of Continuing Education in Holistic Nursing within the five years period preceding the date of expiration of the certification period. At least twenty percent (20%) of the contact hours must directly address Holistic Nursing. The remaining contact hours can be related to holistic methods of practice; studies that facilitate self-care and growth; and transformation within a holistic context. Appropriate documentation of continued education (certificates of completion) must be submitted with application for Recertification.

 

West Virginia Board of Nursing State Continuing Education Requirements:

CE Requirements for RNs: 12 contact hours of CE required annually

 

CE Requirements for LPNs: 24 contact hours every 2 years
