Getting Started with OnlineCE

What professions does OnlineCE serve?

OnlineCE.com provides continuing education courses to occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, massage therapists, and athletic trainers.

What course formats do you offer?

We offer both live (synchronous) and on-demand (asynchronous) online formats. Our live events are scheduled webinars (synchronous) that allow our customers to ask the instructor questions. Our on-demand courses include text formats (primarily downloadable PDFs), audiovisual presentations, and recorded webinars available after an event. On-demand courses may also include case studies or anatomical dissection elements that utilize an interactive dissection platform.

Do courses include an assessment component?

Yes. Each course concludes with an exam designed to drive home key points from the course content and to reinforce the learning process.

What are the course completion requirements?

This course includes an assessment component and a passing score of 100% is required for completion. You will have as many attempts as needed to answer multiple-choice questions and achieve a passing score. Completion certificates are available immediately upon course completion.

How do I select and purchase on-demand courses or scheduled webinars?

If you’re an existing member, start by logging into your account, then click “My Account” and go to “My CE Dashboard”. Then select the Live or On-Demand catalog to make additional purchases.

If you aren’t an existing member, then go right ahead to the Shop Page, select desired products, add to cart and checkout. 

What happens if I don't have enough credits to purchase a course?

If you’ve run out of credits with the current package you have, we recommend that you upgrade to the next tier.

You can upgrade by going to “My Account” -> “Subscriptions” then click “Upgrade”.

Do you accept payment by mail?

Yes. We do accept payment by check or money order. Please email support@onlinece.com and request directions for mail-in payment submittal.

How do I know what my profession and state require for continuing education?

Please be sure and click on the link for State Approvals.

Select your state and then profession from the dropdown to view any information specific to your state.

 How can I update or change my registration information?

You can update your registration information by logging into your portal where you can update anything in your registration EXCEPT username.

How do I obtain my certificate of completion?

Login to your CE Dashboard, Click on Print Certificates. Select a date range and click on the Show Certificates button.

To view, print, or save ALL Certificates of Completion in a date range: Click on the large link that says “Click Here to Save/Print a PDF with all Certificates in Selected Date Range” and a PDF file will open up in your browser. Use the Print icon (upper right corner) to print all certificates in that range, or click on the download icon to save the PDF file to your computer.

To view, print, email or save a SINGLE certificate of completion: Use the View/Print Certificate link, or the Email Certificate link under the name of the specific course.

How do I review my completed courses?

Login to your CE Dashboard, Click on Completed Courses. Find the Course you want to review and click the review button. If it is a multi-part course, there is a simple tool at the top of the page to select parts.

Does OnlineCE.com report completed courses to CE Broker for Florida healthcare providers?

Yes. OnlineCE.com reports completed course information to CE Broker by the third business day each month for courses completed during the prior month. During January to March in even years, we submit every Monday for courses completed during the prior 7 days. Completed courses are reported for the following Florida licensed healthcare professionals: AT, MT, OT, OTA, PT, PTA.

Your Florida state professional license number must be listed correctly on your registration page for your completed courses to be reported to CE Broker.

Does OnlineCE.com report completion of the Pennsylvania Mandatory Child Abuse course to my state board?

OnlineCE.com will submit your completion of the Child Abuse course by an electronic report to the PA Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs within 7 to 10 days following the date of completion. The PA Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs then loads the course completion information to Bureau’s website where your individual licensing board accesses the completion information. OnlineCE.com cannot submit this information directly to your licensing board.

ONLINECE MEMBERSHIP

What does OnlineCE membership cost and what does it include?

An OnlineCE membership includes 12-months of access to all live and home study CE activities on OnlineCE. Based on the membership tier, you will be allotted a certain number of credits that can be applied to courses. Your membership includes access to specialty topics such as cultural competency, sexual harassment training, state-specific human trafficking courses, and more.

What is auto-renewal?

Our OnlineCE membership will be set by default to automatically renew upon its expiration date. The credit card on file will be used to process your membership renewal. For more details on our renewal terms, please review our Terms & Conditions.

You may turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Profile, selecting the “Subscriptions” link on the left-hand navigation, and click “Cancel”.

How do I change my stored payment method?

Your payment method is stored in the Subscription section of your Profile. To update this information, go to your Profile and click the “Subscriptions” link in the left-hand navigation. Under your subscription information, click the “Edit Payment Info” button and enter your updated payment method here.

What is your cancellation policy?

On-demand courses are available 24/7 and are not cancelled. Live webinars may be rescheduled. Please see our policy page for information on refunds.

What is your registration policy?

Individuals with memberships are able to register for courses at www.OnlineCE.com.

How can I change my password?

You can change your password by clicking on the “Profile” button in the upper-right corner of the screen. In your Profile, click “Account Details & Password” in the left-hand navigation, and scroll down to the Password update section. Please note that you will need to enter your old password and will need to enter your new password twice.

How do I change the email address associated with my account?

To update your email address, please email OnlineCE at support@onlinece.com. Please include the new email address, as well as, the current name and email address associated with your account.

How can I obtain a record of my payment receipts?

You can view your order receipts by clicking the “Profile” button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Once in your Profile, click the “Orders” link in the left-hand navigation. This will display a list of your Orders and you can click the “View” button on the Order you would like to access.

What type of security does your site use to ensure my personal information like my social security number and credit card number is secure?

We have secure pages for that information known as SSL technology, which stands for secure sockets layer. You can always tell a secure page, as there is a small lock in the lower corner of your browser window. Furthermore, we do not store credit card information on the site, offering greater security.
