Georgia MT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due biennially on October 31 of even years – Georgia accepts 12 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Occupational Therapist

Georgia OT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due biennially on March 31 of even years – Georgia accepts 12 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Special Requirements

  • At least 14 hours of the required 24 CE hours must be related to direct “hands on” patient care. This includes OT assessment, treatment planning, occupational therapy implementation, and diagnostic related information
  • A maximum of 6 hours of the required 24 CE hours can be in “General” continuing education. This includes areas related to administration, supervision, documentation, quality assurance, and research.
  • Required 2 hours of CE in the ethics of occupational therapy practice
