MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Oregon MT State Requirements

25 hours of CE biennially – Oregon accepts 17 hours of OnlineCE.com courses related to massage

Special Requirements

4 hours in Professional Ethics, Boundaries and/or Communication.
1 hour in Cultural Competence Training – State of Oregon recommends Cultural Competence continuing education training.
- Cultural Competency 201 has been approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) for such training
1 hour in Pain Management as provided by the Oregon Pain Management Commission

Occupational Therapist

Oregon OT State Requirements

30 hours of CE due biennially – Oregon accepts 30 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Special Requirements

Cultural Competence Training – Beginning in 2022, demonstration of completion of required Cultural Competency CE must be provided in a format prescribed by the Board during every license renewal. This required CE in Cultural Competency may also be used towards satisfying the OT CE requirement under OAR 339-020-0010
Cultural Competency 201 has been approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) for such training

Occupational therapy assistants

Oregon OTA State Requirements

30 hours of CE biennially – Oregon accepts 30 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Special Requirements

Must complete a mandatory 1-hour online presentation by the Oregon Pain Commission; additionally, as part of your 24 hours, you must also complete 6 hours of CE related to the management or treatment of pain.
- This is a one-time legislative requirement.

Cultural Competency 201 has been approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) for such training.
